THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
On Cloes and Marzol in doubles:Â "The day started well for the Jags. Loic and Clem dominated their opponents with early breaks and kept the pressure on throughout both matches. They need to focus on another big start for tomorrow."
Â
On the Jags' performance in singles: "Singles was harder today. Loic played well and looked like he was going to close it quickly, but the Auburn player dug deep and fought his way back. Clem just had a terrible day. Nothing worked and he made way too many unforced errors. Sam finished really well, but had a very slow start. If he would have started with the same focus and intensity as he finished the match, he probably would have won. Sacha had a great battle. Even though he lost, he showed that he can play with the best in the nation. I'm very happy with the way Sacha competed today. It came down to a few points here and there. We need to regroup and come up big tomorrow in singles."
