Kennedi Centers
6-2 – Forward
Samuel Clemens High School (Buffaloes)
New Braunfels, TexasCenters signs with the Jaguars after lettering at Samuel Clemens High School in Schertz, Texas, for head coach John Ince. Over the last three seasons, Centers has played in 99 games for the Buffaloes and averaged 8.8 ppg and 10.3 rpg. During that same time, she has scored 872 points and grabbed 1,015 rebounds, leading Clemens to 86 wins. She has also earned all-district honors each year – first team as a junior and sophomore and second team as a freshman.
"Kennedi has great size at 6-2, but she is also a very versatile player," Fowler said. "She's a defensive-minded four-player who can also play the five well. She's the type of player that is going to give us extra possessions with her rebounding ability and her will to go after lose balls on the floor. She will also give us the ability to switch (defensively) out on the perimeter, because she can guard the three, four and five positions."
As a junior, she averaged a double-double with 12.0 points and 11.6 rebounds per game. In 36 games, Centers scored 432 points and pulled down 447 rebounds – which led her district, while shooting 60 percent from the field (180-of-302). She scored double figures 24 times and had 25 double-digit rebounding efforts. Centers posted 18 double-doubles as a junior and had a season high 29-point, 26-rebound outing against Wagner where she was 13-of-18 from the field.
Centers helped Clemens win its area and advance to regional quarterfinals that same season, finishing the year with a 32-6 overall record.
The power forward/center was named to the 2015 Girls all-District first team by the San Antonio Express News and also selected first team UIL District 25-6A all-district. She was also selected as the ESPN San Antonio Player of the Week the second week of February during the 2014-15 season.

She has also lettered in volleyball during her prep career. Centers had offers from Sun Belt member Texas State, Cincinnati and Lamar.
Savannah Jones
6-1 – Guard
St. Martin HS (Yellow Jackets)
Ocean Springs, Miss.Jones, a local product from the region, has already helped St. Martin High School get off to a strong start in her senior season as she has led the Yellow Jackets to a pair of wins. The 6-1 guard had 24 points, eight rebounds, nine assists, three steals and a block in a season-opening win against Gulf Port on Nov. 7. She was 7-of-16 from the field and 9-for-10 from the charity stripe in that outing. On Wednesday (Nov. 10), Jones had another strong outing with 26 points on five three-pointer against Gautier to go along with seven rebounds and two steals.
"Savannah is a knock-down shooter," Fowler said. "With her size at 6-1 and ability to hit the long-range shot, she's going to present matchup problems for some of our opponents. We can throw her in the post against a smaller guard, and also bring her out on the perimeter against a bigger guard. She's a really good ball handler and passer also.
"Probably the one thing that I didn't know about her until watching her play this summer is that she's a really good rebounder as well. She has a great basketball IQ and is a real savvy kid. She has a great feel for the game."
She has been a Clarion-Ledger Preseason Dandy Dozen selection each of the past two seasons and was also a two-time all-Gulf Coast selection during her junior and sophomore seasons, as well as being selected as the District MVP each of those years.
As a junior for head coach Gina Bell at St. Martin High School in Ocean Springs, Miss., Jones averaged 22.2 points 9.9 rebounds, 2.7 steals, and 2.6 blocks per game. Jones also spent time that season playing in the post for St. Martin where she had 77 steals, 76 blocks and shot 45 percent from the floor, knocking down 233 of her 522 attempts. Jones also has the ability to step outside the arc as she hit 51 three-pointers and connected on 31 percent of her long-range attempts during the 2014-15 season.
Jones led the Lady Yellow Jackets to an 18-11 record and the region 8-6A championship. She had 13 double-doubles and scored double figures in 28 of the 29 games in which she played, including 24 games with 20 or more points. Her best outing of the season came in a one-point loss to Murphy where she had 41 points on 15-of-26 shooting. Jones also had 17 rebounds, seven blocks and four steals in that game.
This past summer, Jones and her 17U Lady Puma team won the 2015 AAU Louisiana State title at Southeastern University in Hammond and the All-State Sugar Bowl championship in New Orleans.
Following her junior season, Jones was selected to play for the South Team in the MAC/MSMOC All-Star Game and won the three-point shooting contest at the event.
In 24 games of action during her sophomore season, Jones averaged 16.6 ppg, 7.8 rpg, while also recording 60 steals and 38 blocks. She also shot 41 percent from the field and 37 percent from the three-point line. Jones scored double figures 21 times and had a season-high 31 points against Gulfport. She also posted seven double-doubles while leading St. Martin to a 20-win season.
Jones chose South Alabama after receiving offers from fellow Sun Belt member Arkansas State, Grand Canyon and Florida A&M, among others. Also received interest during the recruiting process from Oklahoma State.
Camryn London
5-7 – Guard
Shades Valley High School (Mounties)
Birmingham, Ala.London, who has been a member of the varsity team since her freshman season at Shades Valley High School in Birmingham, Ala., was recently named to AL.com's A-List Best of the Rest team earning the honor on Tuesday (Nov. 10). In her season opener, London helped the Mounties defeat Centerpoint as she had 11 points in that outing and on Thursday night, London posted a team-high 27 points in an 87-83 overtime victory over defending 6A state champs Homewood.
"We wanted to bring in shooters with this class and Camryn London is another good shooter," Fowler said. "She's 5-7, but plays bigger than that. She has a long frame. I feel that she has the ability to sit down and guard out on the perimeter. She's going to be able to switch off and play multiple positions on the floor for us. Camryn has the ability to score in spurts. She can score off the dribble, but she's more of a catch-and-shoot type of player."
London began her prep career playing under Tonya Hunter where the Mounties won the 6A AHSAA state championship during her sophomore season and reached the semifinal round last season. In that semifinal contest, the 5-7 guard had a team-high 15 points against Blount.
