USA FOOTBALL SET FOR REGIONAL TV APPEARANCE AT SOUTH CAROLINA

NEW ORLEANS – The University of South Alabama football program will take on South Carolina in a game that will be regionally televised, it was announced Monday.

The Jaguars will visit the Gamecocks on Saturday, Nov. 22, with kickoff scheduled for 11 a.m. (CST) and the contest slated to be broadcast live on FOX Sports South.

It will be the Jags' second match-up with a Southeastern Conference opponent this year, having fallen to current No. 1 Mississippi State in their home opener — also their last game outside of Sun Belt Conference action — on Sept. 13, as well as the final road trip of the regular season for USA.  It's the third straight year that the Jaguars will compete against an SEC opponent in its venue, as USA faced MSU in Starkville in 2012 and played Tennessee in Knoxville last season.

USA (5-4, 4-3 Sun Belt) will play its eighth, and final, league contest Saturday against Texas State, with the game set to begin at 6:30 p.m. at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
