QUOTABLE
"Obviously disappointed with the loss. I felt like we were playing some really good football the last two weeks even though it didn't show in the win column. We just did not play with the same style of play. I thought we did defensively. I know there's some things we've got to work on, but I was very pleased with the way the defense continued to battle. We played some timely defense and kept serving it back on a platter to the offense for them to go score and create some momentum, and we never got it going offensively. We weren't very good on third down, and then obviously when you get in the red zone you've got to score. Being eight of 18 on third down, that's not going to get it done. And then you look down in the red zone and we're two of three, but one of those is a field goal, so we've got to score touchdowns in the red area. That's really what it was, was continuity and finishing drives on offense."
-Head Coach
Major Applewhite on Saturday's loss
"I think we came into this game on a high. We had a lot of people telling us how good we are, even in our losses — how we were fighting so good. We didn't execute like we have been in the second half the past two games. We turned the ball over way too much on offense. I thought our defense played pretty well. We've got to get better at those things."
-Wide Receiver
Devin Voisin on what went wrong in the setback to Coastal Carolina
"I feel like the defense played pretty well, we had some mental errors and mistakes, but all in all we put our team in a position to win the game."
