USA leads the all-time series with USF 8-6. The two teams faced off last season when South Alabama pulled out a 4-3 win over South Florida.
“South Florida has a lot baseliners,” said Brochu. “Last year we went down there and played really aggressive and came up with a big 4-3 win. They’re a dangerous team and they always have top quality players, so it’s definitely going to be a fight.”

“We played North Florida last year and thought we had the match, but they came out at the end and snuck one up on us and we lost 4-3,” said Brochu. “They’re a young, talented team and we’re going to have to be ready.”
