MOBILE, Ala. – The first of five basketball camps hosted by the University of South Alabama men’s basketball program and head coach
Ronnie Arrow gets underway June 6 at Jag Gym.
There are two individual camps for all ages, the first running June 6-9 and the second June 20-23. An elite camp for boys in grades 9-12 is June 12. The individual camps are held 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
A team camp will also take place June 10-11.
The South Alabama football and men’s basketball programs will be hosting a joint camp June 27-29, which will be split daily between the two sports. This two-sport event will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is open to kids in grades 1-8.
The camps are designed to give athletes the proper instruction and guidance to help them reach their full potential as basketball players by learning the proper skills and techniques of shooting, passing, ball handling, and defending. The campers will receive individual instruction and lectures from the staff which includes members of Arrow’s coaching staff and players.
The team camp allows teammates to grow and develop as a squad, playing in at least three games each day. The camp will feature both varsity and junior varsity levels.
