NEW ORLEANS – Former South Alabama forward
Judah Brown has been named to the inaugural All-Sun Belt Community Service Team, honoring his exceptional commitment to community service throughout his collegiate career and the 2024-25 season.
This new recognition, developed in partnership with the Sun Belt Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), celebrates student-athletes across all 14 Sun Belt institutions who lead impactful community efforts. Each school selects one representative who exemplifies leadership and dedication in serving their communities.
Brown's selection reflects his consistent involvement and leadership in community initiatives, aligning with the conference's mission to highlight the positive impact student-athletes make beyond the playing field. He served his local community by reading to multiple local youth schools, collaborated on the annual Jag Jingle Event for Boys and Girls Club and participated in a bi-weekly food drive for the Rightway Christian Center.
In addition, he helped the Jaguars' men's basketball program sponsor Hooper's Heroes which offered pediatric cancer patients an opportunity to live "a day in the life of a student-athlete." Brown assisted at multiple Corpus Christi Catholic School free youth basketball camps and supported the Shooting To Change Autism Awareness cause and contributed over 175 hours serving the City of Mobile.
After playing in his final season of collegiate basketball, Brown has now signed a professional deal overseas with SKN St. Polten of the Austrian Basketball Superliga, which is the highest tier basketball league in all of Austria.
