Karlsson posted his first top-10 finish of the year at the Linger Longer Invitational — where five teams entered played ranked in Golfstat.com's 25 — after recording a season-best 4-under-par 212 three-day total.  The junior led the team with a 3-under-par 69 in the first round as well as a 2-under-par 70 total over the final 18 holes to tie for eighth in a field that included 87 competitors as he finished ahead of the fifth and 12-ranked players in the country.  It was the first time this year that Karlsson has recorded multiple rounds below par at the same event and he also tied for fifth in the field with a team-leading 14 birdies over the three days.
