Schwartz finished third in the pentathlon at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational in Gainesville, Fla., over the weekend, and her 3,492 point total was the highest recorded in the Sun Belt this season.  She finished in the top five in four of the five events in the competition, highlight by second-place marks in the 800-meter run (2:30.27) and high jump (1.65m/5-5).  Schwartz was also fourth in the 55-meter hurdles (8.65) and shot put (10.05m/32-0) as well as sixth out of 15 competitors in the long jump (5.15m/16-10.75).
