McCoy led the Jaguars with 15 points at the Sun Belt Conference Championship last weekend, scoring in three events to help South claim its first-ever outright league title. The senior earned third-team all-conference honors after coming in third in the 10,000-meter run on Friday night, crossing the line in a time of 36:40 to move up to fourth on the program's all-time performance list at the distance. On Sunday, she posted a time of 4:33.67 in the 1,500 meters to place fourth, and when she and teammate Ashley Heitling ended up among the top five in the 5,000 that night it clinched the championship for the team.
