Brown is the Sun Belt leader in strikeouts (308) heading into the postseason, eclipsing the 300 mark last weekend in two wins against Troy. The right-hander struck out 29 Trojan batters in 14 innings and picked up her 11th shutout in game two. She struck out 17 in the series opener, tying the record she set in March for the second-most in program history. To open the series, Brown struck out 12 of the first 13 batters she faced, with one base runner allowed due to an error. In 19 of her 35 appearances this season now, Brown has struck out 10 or more.
