Kruger was undefeated at No. 4 and No. 5 singles, 3-0 against league opponents, dropping only one match in doubles in the reporting week. He downed three of his four singles opponents in straight sets and rallied from a 1-0 set deficit to defeat ULL’s Ted Nilsson 3-6, 7-6 (8-6), 7-6 (7-5), and gave up only one game in his 6-1, 6-0 victory over UMSL’s Daniel Anthony.
