Patterson batted .500 (7-for-14) last week with a double, one home run, four RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases. He recorded two multiple-hit games in the week, going a perfect 3-for-3 with a double against Central Florida, and followed that performance with a 2-for-4 day at the plate against No. 29 Alabama with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored; Patterson's homer in the bottom of the eighth inning gave the Jaguars an 8-6 lead against the Crimson Tide. Patterson stole two bases against Jackson State as well, and hit safely in every Jaguar game last week.
