Labuschaigne broke the school record in the 1,500 meters set in 1997 on Friday at the War Eagle Invitational, recording a time of 4:24.50 that is best in the Sun Belt Conference this season by over four seconds. The sophomore finished fifth in the invitational race while posting a PR at the distance for the second week in a row.
