Valkova won two singles matches in straight sets and added two doubles wins — both at the No. 1 flight — to guide the Jaguars to their 14th consecutive victory to start the 2015 season. She downed Alexandra Starkova of Louisiana Tech 6-3, 6-3, then dropped Nelo Phiri of Louisiana-Lafayette 6-2, 6-3, while pairing with Emily Newton to lose just five games in two doubles wins; they defeated a team from Louisiana Tech 8-3 and UL Lafayette’s duo 8-2.
