St. John allowed just one run and scattered eight hits in a career-high 8 1/3 innings pitched to lead South Alabama to a 2-1 win over No. 24 Arkansas in game two of the three-game series at Baum Stadium in Fayetteville, Ark., on Saturday. The left-hander struck out three and issued two walks, and retired eight of his final 10 batters faced to earn his first win of the season.
