Williams was credited with a career-best 2½ sacks while finishing with a season-high six total stops against Louisiana-Monroe to lead a Jaguar defense that recorded a school game-record nine sacks — tying for the most in the nation this fall — while allowing season-low totals of 14 points and 274 yards last weekend in a 22-point win. It was the first time in 50 career outings that Williams — who had 2½ sacks in his first four years combined — has been credited with more than one sack in a game.
