Lewis was instrumental in helping the Jaguars secure the fifth-seed in this year’s conference tournament as she helped the Jaguars post a 1-1 record to close out the regular season.  In her two matches, Lewis led South Alabama with 43.5 points, 35 kills and a 3.89 kills-per-set average; the Huntsville, Ala., native was also outstanding behind the service line as she recorded seven aces (0.78 per set).  On Friday, Lewis nearly led South Alabama to an upset win as the Jaguars went five sets versus Sun Belt regular season champ Western Kentucky in Bowling Green.  Lewis posted her second double-double of the season with a career-high 20 kills and 10 digs.  She followed that performance with 15 kills and two aces at Georgia Stat as USA clinched the fifth seed.  Lewis also hit .303 in the match versus the Panthers.
