Jacobs went a combined 7-1 in singles and doubles, and won Flight 1 in singles at the Battle of the Bayou over the weekend. Three of his four wins were in straight sets, including a 6-3, 6-2 victory in the final. He dropped just two games in his opener before winning in three sets in the quarterfinals and straight sets in the semis. In doubles, he teamed with Clement Marzol to go 3-1, falling 6-3 in the final. The duo defeated teams from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Southern Miss and Louisiana-Lafayette in the first three rounds.
