In her first two career starts Williams helped South Alabama achieve a 2-0 record last week as she had or tied for the team lead in almost every category: points (30), steals (eight), assists (seven), rebounds (10), field goal percentage (52.2%) and free throw percentage (83.3%). In the Jaguars' home-opening win against Spring Hill Williams had a game-high 12 points and three steals, grabbed six boards and made the only three pointer of the game for the Jaguars. At New Orleans on Saturday, Williams had game-highs and career-highs of 18 points, five steals and six assists in addition to four rebounds. Her five steals all came in the first half and helped the Jags forced the Privateers to 16 of their 22 turnovers in the half. Williams didn't miss a shot in the second half, going 4-4 from both the field and the line. All four free throws came with less than two minutes that helped give the Jaguars a lead and then preserve it.
