Allison scored the lone goal in the University of South Alabama women’s soccer’s 1-0 defeat of regular-season champion Western Kentucky to lead the Jaguars to their first-ever Sun Belt Conference Tournament title on Sunday in San Marcos, Texas; Allison collected a through ball from USA senior midfielder Morgan Motes in the 20th minute against the Lady Toppers and deposited her 16th goal of the season and second at the league tournament. The 2013 SBC Offensive and Freshman Player of the Year was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player. A native of Bicester, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom, Allison’s goal tally ties her with former Jaguar standout Cindy Rainville for the second most in USA single-season history.
