Salah won his first race of the season Saturday at Troy's Coach "O" Invitational, finishing the 5,000-meter course with a time of 16:05.98 to edge out teammate Scott Lasiter by less than a second. Salah led the Jaguars to the team title at the meet, as with 15 points — USA had the top six finishers in the race — they were able to defeat the host Trojans by 15 points.
