Peterson continued to be instrumental in helping lead the Lady Jags to a pair of big Sun Belt Conference victories.  For the week, Peterson averaged 16 points per game and shot 50 percent from the floor (9-of-18).  She was also deadly from beyond the arc as she connected on 46.7 percent (7-of-15) of her attempts from the three-point line.  In USA’s 66-57 victory over Florida Atlantic on Wednesday, Peterson had 16 points on 4-of-8 shooting.  She was also 4-for-4 at the free throw line and pulled down four rebounds in 32 minutes of action.  On Saturday, Peterson posted her third-straight double-figure outing with another 16-point effort against Western Kentucky as USA picked up it’s first-ever victory over the Lady Toppers in Bowling Green in a 56-52 win.  Peterson was 5-of-10 from the field; with 31 seconds remaining she drained one of her three treys to give USA a four-point advantage, then with 14 seconds remaining she hit a pair of free throws to seal the victory.
