Kvistad posted her best offensive numbers of the season and helped South Alabama take two of three in a Sun Belt Conference series over Georgia State. For the series versus the Panthers, Kvistad was 7-for-8 (.875) at the plate with three runs scored, two doubles, a home run, 4 RBI and a 1.500 slugging percentage. The freshman reached base all three of her plate appearances in the series opener against the Panthers as she was 2-for-2 with a walk and a RBI, then she made her first start of the season at first base in game two and was instrumental in helping the Jags pick up a 10-3 win to even the series as she was 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two runs scored and a RBI; the four hits and the two doubles were both career-highs and helped spark South Alabama to a season-high 18 hits, including a school record six doubles and seven extra-base hits. In the series finale, Kvistad gave the Jags the lead for good as she blasted her third home run of the season to lead off the second and put South up 1-0. The next inning, she capped off a four-run third with a sacrifice fly to right to score Kristian Foster and make it 5-0.
