Todd batted .462 and reached base in eight of her 15 plate appearances last week, and she also scored five runs, walked twice, drove in three and was a perfect 3-for-3 in her stolen base attempts in helping South Alabama to a 3-1 record including a Sun Belt series win over ULM. Todd began the week with a 3-for-4 night in South Alabama’s 11-2
six-inning win against Southern; in addition to her three-hit night, Todd scored twice and tied a career high with three runs driven in. On Sunday, Todd etched her named into the South Alabama record books as she set one all-time mark and tied two more. Todd was 2-for-3 in the Jaguars’ series-clinching win over the Warhawks, scoring two of
the club’s three runs, and extended her reached base safely streak to a career-high 19 games — which is tied for the seventh-longest streak in program history. With her first inning steal, Todd tied Evelyne Pare’s career mark of 69, while her second hit of the day gave her a program-best 58 career multi-hit gamesand also tied her with Brittany Fowler’s career mark of 213.
