Rubit averaged a double-double last week with 14.0 points and 11.0 rebounds in leading the Jaguars to a 1-1 record. In the Jags' 74-63 win over crosstown rival Mobile, Rubit recorded team-high totals of 18 points and 14 rebounds, including 10 points and 11 rebounds in the second half alone. He did a bulk of his work at the free throw line, setting new career bests with 10 free throws in 12 attempts. Against No. 25/24 Florida State, Rubit led the Jaguars with 10 points and eight boards.
