MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama soccer will host Georgia State at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday at The Cage in Mobile, Ala.

SERIES HISTORY:
South Alabama is 15-3-3 overall against Georgia State, with their last match a 3-1 Jaguar victory on Sept. 29, 2024.

SCOUTING THE JAGS (3-4-2, 1-0-1 SBC):

• South Alabama hosts Georgia State after a 2-2 draw with Coastal Carolina on Wednesday. The Jags leveled the score in the 82nd minute despite playing from behind for over 79 minutes.
• Aliya Gomes now has four goals for the year, the most single-season goals of her career. Gomes also co-leads the Jags in points (9), shots on goal (4) and assists (1). Additionally, each of her shots on goal resulted in a score.
• The Jags seek to defend their nine-match unbeaten streak at The Cage.
• South Alabama ranks second in the Sun Belt West, following Louisiana.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS (6-3-1, 1-1-0 SBC):

• Georgia State travels to Mobile after a 2-1 victory over in-state rival Georgia Southern on Thursday.
• The Panthers are led offensively by Aaliyah Faddoul, who has recorded eight goals, 18 points and 36 shots this season.
• GSU leads the Sun Belt in shots on goal per game, averaging 6.90.
