Soccer Comes Back in Conway, Draws with Coastal

CONWAY, S.C. – South Alabama soccer drew with Coastal Carolina on Wednesday, posting a 2-2 result.

SCORING MOMENTS:
  • 2' | Coastal Carolina's Olivia Goretski found a deflected cross in the middle of the box to earn a score.
  • 56' | Andrea Iljkic evaded a Chanticleer defender to send in a strike from the top of the penalty box. Ava Matherne came in with the assist.
  • 57' | Olivia Goretski isolated herself on the right side of the box to give the Chants a one-score advantage.
  • 82' | Aliya Gomes sent in a deflected pass at the near right side of the net.

KEY STATS:
