• South Alabama holds a 27-22 all-time record in the Sun Belt Conference Championship
• The Jaguars have reached the championship game five times, last doing so at the 2021 tournament
• South has won the tournament three times – 2012, 2013 and 2015
• The quarterfinal meeting will mark the first time the Jags and the Golden Eagles have met in the postseason

Ryley Harrison (15-12, 5 SV), who ranks in the Top 10 in the league in earned run average (sixth – 2.55), innings pitched (third – 181.0), strikeouts (third – 169), strikeouts looking (third – 41), wins (sixth), and is tied for the league lead in saves
• Her five saves are also tied for fifth-most in the nation entering play this week
• Harrison – a first-team all-Sun Belt selection – has 14 complete games and four, complete-game shutouts, which is tied for 17th nationally, this spring

Sydney Scapin holds a 2.74 ERA and her .214 opponent's batting average is tied for second lowest in the SBC, as she is also tied for eighth in strikeouts and tied for ninth in strikeouts looking in league play
• In SBC play, Scapin holds a 1.84 ERA, which is third lowest, and her .184 opponent batting average tops the league
• As a staff, South Alabama leads the SBC in shutouts (11), which is tied for 19th in the nation, is second in strikeouts looking (82) and third in strikeouts (308)
• In Sun Belt play, South Alabama is holding league opponents to a .214 batting average, which is the lowest in SBC play, and also leads the conference in both strikeouts (143) and strikeouts looking (36)

Gracie Dees has a team-best 21 extra-base hits, including 15 doubles which are tied for third most in the SBC

Virginia Mambelli leads the team in batting average (.336), home runs (7) and is second in RBI (28)

Olivia Branstetter (.303) is tied with Mambelli with seven home runs of her own entering the postseason and the Jag third baseman has 28 RBI
• Branstetter has been even better in Sun Belt Conference play as she holds a .371 batting average and a .690 slugging percentage against conference foes, which ranks sixth in the conference
• Her 1.120 OPS in league play is also 10th. Of her seven home runs this spring, five have come in league play

Presley Lively (.305) leads the SBC in triples (8) and is tied for second in the nation in the category
• Lively – who earned honorable mention all-conference honors on Tuesday – has already set the single-season marks at by South Alabama and the Sun Belt Conference in triples this season
• The Helena, Ala., native has recorded 47 hits and scored 32 runs, and she leads the team with 11 multi-hit games this spring, six of which have come against conference foes

Kara Wine is batting .316 in conference action and of her 23 RBI this spring, 15 have come in SBC play, which are the most in league play by a Jag this spring
