•    The tournament marks the third home tournament the Jaguars have hosted this spring, and in those games, South Alabama has compiled a 7-2 record
•    South Alabama holds an 6-3 (.667) mark when hosting the Jaguar Classic, and the 2026 season marks the first time since 2021 that South has hosted the event
•    Ryley Harrison (7-3, 1 SV) ranks in the Top 10 in the league in innings pitched (third – 62.1), strikeouts (fourth – 57), strikeouts looking (third – 12), wins (t-third - 7), ERA (seventh – 2.36), and opposing batting average (10th - .244)
•    As a staff, South Alabama leads the SBC in shutouts (6), is second in strikeouts looking (34) and in strikeouts (122), and third in opponent batting average (.251)
•    Presley Lively (.339) leads the SBC in triples and walks (17)
•    Gracie Dees (.317) leads the club with 10 extra-base hits, and the freshman is tied for third in the SBC in doubles with seven 
•    Olivia Branstetter and Lillie Stagner each have a team-best 16 RBI
•    Mississippi State marks the fourth SEC opponent to face South Alabama this spring
•    The meetings with Samford will mark the first in the series since the 2016 season 
•    Saturday's game versus New Mexico will be just the second in the all-time series with the lone other series meeting coming during the 2014 season
