MOBILE, Ala. | After hosting tournaments on back-to-back weekends, South Alabama softball will head back out on the road to compete at the Bulldog Classic in Athens, Ga., this weekend. The Jaguars will open up against the host Bulldogs on Friday at 5 p.m. (CT), and then have a pair of games on Saturday: vs. UNC Wilmington (9:30 am CT) and vs. Georgia (12 pm (CT), before closing out the event on Sunday against UNC Wilmington at 9:30 am (CT).
The only games scheduled to be streamed on the SECNetwork+ this weekend will be games against Georgia. Live stats and the streaming links for all of South Alabama's games can be accessed on the schedule page.

• South Alabama has competed at two tournaments hosted by Georgia: the Red & Black Classic (2021) and the Georgia Softball Classic (2010), and the Jaguars hold a combined 4-3 record at those two events
• The Bulldogs are the third SEC opponent that the Jags will have faced this spring
• The meeting with UNC Wilmington will mark the first between the two programs

Ryley Harrison (6-2) ranks in the Top 10 in the league in innings pitched (third – 53.1), strikeouts (third – 46), strikeouts looking (t-second – 9), wins (third - 6), ERA (fourth – 1.71), and opposing batting average (ninth - .229)
• As a staff, South Alabama leads the SBC in strikeouts (95) and shutouts (5), is second in strikeouts looking (24), third in opponent batting average (.234) and fourth in ERA (2.83)

Presley Lively leads the club with a .378 batting average, and has a pair of doubles and a pair of triples

Olivia Branstetter (.364) has driven in a team-best 16 runs, while Stagner has plated 12 runs this spring
