MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama will host its second tournament of the spring at Jaguar Field this weekend with the South Alabama Invitational. The Jags will take on West Georgia on Friday at 5:30 p.m., Loyola-Chicago (2 p.m.) and UT Martin (7 p.m.) on Saturday, and North Alabama on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

•    The tournament marks the second of three hosted by the Jaguars this spring
•    The meetings versus West Georgia, Loyola-Chicago, UT Martin and North Alabama will mark the first-ever against South Alabama
•    South Alabama holds an 24-14 (.632) mark when hosting the South Alabama Invitational, and holds a combined record of 73-34 (.682) in the six named tournaments the program has hosted all-time
•    Gracie Dees has had a hit in 9 of her last 10 games and driven in a run in six of her last nine
•    Presley Lively has had a hit in 10 of her 12 games and reached base safely in all every game this spring
•    Lillie Stagner has had a hit in eight of her last 10, and driven in a run six of her last nine
•    Ryley Harrison (3-2), who ranks in the Top 10 in the league in innings pitched (t-first – 39.1), strikeouts (second – 31), strikeouts looking (t-first – 9), ERA (t-fifth – 1.96), and opposing batting average (eighth - .227)
•    As a staff, South Alabama leads the SBC in strikeouts (66), strikeouts looking (19), and shutouts (3), while it is third in ERA (2.96)
