MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Track & Field will split up for the final weekend of regular season action, competing at the Samford Bulldog Invitational and the Vanderbilt Music City Challenge on Feb.13-14.

Samuel Mika has been dominant for the Jags this indoor season, smashing the program record in the weight throw a week ago at the Frank Sevigne Invite in Nebraska, hurling a toss of 19.84 meters. He currently owns the best mark in the Sun belt this season.

Terek Logan and Will Frederick are both ranked in the Top three in the conference pole vault standings. Logan is in second with a clearance of 5.22 meters, and Frederick is close behind in third with a jump of 5.10 meters.

Samuel Warriner is second in the Sun Belt in the Heptathlon with 5216 points collected earlier this year at the Samford Multi's clash.

Brady Keller ran the fastest time in the 800 meters in program history earlier this year on a standard 200-meter banked track, clocking a time of 1:50.49 at the USA Invitational.

On the women's side, Kayden Engel is second in the Sun Belt's high jump rankings with a 1.76-meter clearance.

Presleigh Montalvo shattered the school record in the 60 meters two weeks ago, running a 7.44 at the USA Invitational. She currently sits fourth in the Sun Belt with that time.

30 different athletes will be competing at the Music City Challenge. Highlighting the track action will be Montalvo in the 60-meter hurdles at 2:30 p.m. CT and Keller in the Men's Mile at 5:20 p.m. CT.
- Four athletes will compete at the Samford Bulldog Invite. Omari Taylor, Bo Webb, and RJ Torbor will all battle it out in the sprints while Akasha Dudley competes in the throws.
