MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Soccer fell 4-2 to Mississippi State on Sunday at The Cage.

- The Bulldogs recorded the match's first two goals in the 19th and 52nd minutes, the latter an own-goal by the Jags.
- In the 69th minute, Juliana Lopes sent a header into the goal, giving the Jags the score off a Bulldog handball.
- Mississippi State put up two more goals in the 70th and 80th minutes.
- In the 82nd minute, freshman Zamiyah Hill sent a header into the net off an assist from Juliana Lopes.
