MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Soccer shut out Louisiana 3-0 at The Cage on Saturday night. The win moved the Jags to 1-0 in conference play.

• 41' | Aliya Gomes found Sofia Ferrante in the box, who then sent a left-footed strike into the net.
• 55' | Zamiyah Hill scored off a deflected shot by Ava Matherne.
• 74' | Aliya Gomes sent a dagger into the net after recovering a deflected deep ball by Melina Descary.

• Freshman Zamiyah Hill leads the team offensively with 22 shots. Hill is also tied with Andrea Iljkic for the most goals scored this season (3).
• The Jags' back line recorded a shutout today, marking the team's fourth of the season.
• South Alabama ranks first in the conference in shutout percentage (.500).
• Amelia Campanella has played a full 90 in every match this season.
