MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Soccer is set to host Louisiana Tech at 1 p.m. tomorrow in The Cage in Mobile, Ala.
SERIES HISTORY:
The Jags are 4-1-1 overall against the Bulldogs, with their last match resulting in a 2-0 win in Ruston, La., on Aug. 22, 2016.
SCOUTING THE JAGS:
South heads into the match after a canceled match against Samford on Thursday. Prior to the match, the Jags earned a 2-0 win against Tennessee Tech on Sunday, Aug. 17. One of the goals was an impressive header recorded by Melina Descary, marking her first goal since the 2023 season. Andrea Iljkic, a first-year player for the Jags, scored the other goal.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS:
The Bulldogs head into their first road match after a 2-0 win against Louisiana this past Thursday (Aug. 21). Madison Pensom leads the team offensively with four points, seven shots, two assists and one goal.
