New Orleans, La. - The Sun Belt Conference announced the men's and women's 2025 Preseason Cross Country Coaches Polls on Friday, with men's voted fourth and women's voted ninth.

South Alabama men's cross country received 54 points in the voting, just one point behind Texas State, and short of 2024 conference champion App State and runner-up Arkansas State. The Jags finished the 2024 season in third place with 100 points in Foley, Ala.

The women's cross country team received 68 points in the voting ahead of Troy, ULM, Georgia Southern, and Georgia State. The Jaguars wrapped up the 2024 season in ninth place earning 198 points.
