MOBILE, Ala. - South Alabama men's golf head coach Ben Hannan announced the programs' 2025-2026 schedule on Monday, opening with a trip to Ruston, LA, for the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate (Sep. 7-9), the first of four fall events on a 10-tournament slate before the NCAA regional and championship events.

South Alabama will host two spring events- the Hal Williams Collegiate (Feb. 16-17), and the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate (Mar. 30-31). The Jags will open postseason play at the 2026 Sun Belt Championship in Jackson, MS, April 27-30, returning to a site that last hosted the event in 2015. 

Returner Hugo Thyr is one of eight athletes on the roster for the 2025-2026 season entering his fourth at South Alabama, seeking to make his fourth consecutive NCAA appearance. The rising senior has three top-10 finishes under his belt in his junior campaign, including a first-place finish on his home turf at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate last year. 

Seven returning Jaguars will be accompanied by one newcomer on the official roster this year in the form of senior Samir Davidov, an experienced tournament player and George Mason transfer featuring the individual title at the 2025 Babygrande Donald Ross Collegiate on his decorated resume.
