MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama running back
Kentrel Bullock and linebacker
Blayne Myrick have been named to the East-West Shrine Bowl 1000 Watch List, which recognizes college football's top NFL Draft eligible players.
Every year, approximately 1000 all-star game eligible players are drafted, signed after the draft, or attend a rookie mini-camp. The aim for the Shrine Bowl 1000 list is to serve as a look into the scouting process, as well as begin to preview college players who are currently all-star game eligible for the 2026 East-West Shrine Bowl and 2026 NFL Draft class.
Bullock rushed for 832 yards and seven touchdowns in 2024 while catching 15 passes for 153 yards and a score. He was named a preseason All-Sun Belt First Team selection ahead of the 2025 Sun Belt Conference Football Media Days. Myrick totaled 101 tackles to go with eight tackles for loss, two sacks a pick-six and a forced fumble. He was named the Sun Belt's Preseason Defensive Player of the Year for 2025 and earned preseason All-Sun Belt First Team recognition.
The East-West Shrine Bowl is a best-in-class all-star event that will take place at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, TX on Jan. 27, 2026. Players will be coached by NFL coaches, in an NFL facility, and will have access to NFL-level resources, facilities, player-friendly schedules, and opportunities at the highest level.
The Jaguars open the 2025 season on Saturday, Aug. 30 against Morgan State. Kickoff at Hancock Whitney Stadium is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
