MOBILE, Ala. – The NCAA released the 2023-24 Academic Progress Rate report Tuesday and South Alabama Athletics enjoyed several highlights.
 
 As a department, South Alabama's single-year score is 989 while the Jaguars have 10 teams with a single-year score of 1,000.
 
Men's basketball, men's tennis, women's golf, softball, women's tennis, volleyball, men's track & field, women's track & field, men's cross country and women's cross country all enjoyed perfect single-year scores of 1,000. The women's golf and women's tennis programs also received multi-year scores of 1,000. Men's basketball's 1,000 single-year score is also the second-straight year the program has earned that achievement.
 
Other notable results for the Jaguars include softball earning a multi-year score of 994, men's cross country earning a multi-year score of 991 and women's cross country earning a multi-year score of 992.
