MOBILE, Ala. | The University of South Alabama is pleased to announce its newest Hall of Fame class to be inducted this fall.
This year's class includes former Jaguar student-athletes Emilie Berge (Women's Track & Field, 2017-21), Alexandria Stiteler (Women's Tennis, 2015-19), Mike Nakamura (Baseball, 1995-97) and Briana Morris (Soccer, 2016-19).
The Hall of Fame ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. CT on Saturday, Nov. 14 in the Athletic Department Hall of Fame alcove located in the Mitchell Center. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
The Jaguar football team will host Troy later that day at Hancock Whitney Stadium.
Emilie Berge, Women's Track & Field, 2017-21
• Three-time Sun Belt Conference Champion (Heptathlon – Outdoor 2017, 2018, 2019)
• Two-time Sun Belt Conference Champion (Pentathlon – Indoor 2017, 2019)
• All-Sun Belt Conference performer (Pentathlon – Indoor 2020, Runner-Up – 4,021 points)
• Sun Belt & South Alabama record holder (Heptathlon & Pentathlon)
• NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships All-American (Heptathlon – 2019, Second Team – 5,493 points)

Alexandria Stiteler, Women's Tennis, 2015-19
• 2016 and 2017 Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year – first in program history to win
• 2016 Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year
• First-team all-conference singles honoree in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019
• First-team all-conference doubles honoree in 2016
• Second team all-conference doubles honoree in 2017
• 11-time SBC Player of the Week – program record
• Finished the 2016 season ranked #102 in singles
• Ranked third in program history in career wins with 83
• Ranked fifth in program history in dual wins with 66
• Holds the program records for career dual wins from singles No. 1 with 65
• Played all but one match in her career from the No. 1 spot
• Holds the program record for dual match win percentage from the No.1 spot with .783 (65-18)
• Sits eighth in program history for career doubles wins with 64
• Ended career ranked fifth in program history for dual match doubles wins with 55
• Holds program record for dual match doubles wins from flight No. 2 with 43
• Ended career ranked third in program history for wins in a season with 28 – 2016
• Made a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances as an individual – 2016 and 2018
• Led South Alabama to the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Tournament title and an appearance at the NCAA tournament appearance
• During her four-year career, South Alabama compiled a 84-20 team record
Mike Nakamura, Baseball, 1995-97
• A first-team Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American selection and a second-team all-league selection in 1995
• Named second-team All-America by Collegiate Baseball and first-team all-Sun Belt Conference in 1996
• Finished career with 19-8 record and a 4.11 earned-run average
• His 17 saves stand third, while 221 strikeouts rank 10th in program history
• Led the Jaguars with a 2.45 ERA and season-record 12 saves as a freshman — pacing the SBC and ranking among the top 10 nationally in the latter category — as South went 41-17 and advanced to an NCAA Regional
• As a sophomore was 6-3 with three saves and a 4.48 ERA while helping the Jags win both the conference regular season and tournament titles en route to an NCAA Regional appearance
• Tied for team lead and for third in the conference in wins his junior year after going 11-2, adding two saves and 83 strikeouts — which stood eighth in the SBC — with a 4.98 ERA as USA claimed the SBC tournament championship and played in an NCAA Regional
• Competed in the 1996 Olympics as a member of the Australian national team
• Signed as a free agent with the Minnesota Twins in 1997, pitching two seasons in the Major Leagues with Minnesota (2003) and Toronto ('04)
Briana Morris, Soccer, 2016-19
• Named the 2019 Sun Belt Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year
• First-team all-conference selection in 2019
• Selected to the Sun Belt All-Tournament Team in 2018
• Totaled 16 goals in her senior season
• Sits ninth on the program list for points in a season with 34
• Tied for third on the program list for goals in a season (16)
• Sits fifth for single-season goals per game with .73 (2019)
• Led the Jags to three Sun Belt Conference Regular-Season and Tournament titles – 2016, 2017, 2019
• Member of three NCAA Tournament teams as well – 2016, 2017, 2019
