MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Football has learned the kickoff times and broadcast plans for its first-three games of the 2025 season, along with its two midweek matchups on the schedule.
South Alabama's season will open at Hancock Whitney Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 30 against Morgan State. Kickoff between the Jaguars and Bears will take place at 6 p.m. CT and the game will be broadcast on ESPN+. The following week on Saturday, Sept. 6, the Jags will host Tulane at 6 p.m. CT with the contest against the Green Wave also being broadcast live on ESPN+.
The Jaguars' first-ever trip to in-state foe Auburn will kick off at 11:45 a.m. CT in Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Jags and Tigers will plan in front of a national audience with the game being televised on SEC Network.
South will play back-to-back midweek games against Sun Belt Conference opponents in the month of October, the first being on Tuesday, Oct. 14 against Arkansas State. The Jags and Red Wolves will play at 6:30 p.m. CT and the game will be nationally televised on ESPN2. South Alabama will then play on the road at Georgia State on Thursday, Oct. 23 with an identical 6:30 p.m. CT kickoff on ESPN2.
The Jags will learn the remainder of their kickoff times and television assignments throughout the course of the 2025 season. All game times and television times are subject to change.
