NEW ORLEANS, La.-
Delien Kleinhans and
Rio Maeda of South Alabama Women's Tennis received All-Sun Belt Conference honors as announced by the league Wednesday afternoon.
Kleinhans and Maeda received Doubles Second Team All-Conference for their remarkable play during the 2024-25 season. In their 18 matches played together, Kleinhans and Maeda posted a dominant 14-4, while going 5-3 in Sun Belt action. The pair posted a 4-0 record in the #2 doubles spot, before being moved to the #1 spot in which they won their first seven matches. The duo garnered major wins for South as the season progressed, picking up victories against #32-ranked Yale and Troy.
Kleinhans and Maeda will prepare for the Sun Belt Tournament as they face off against James Madison in the quarterfinals match this Friday at 9:00 AM CT.
