MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama returns home Wednesday night to open up a six-game homestand and host Southeastern Louisiana in a midweek tilt. First pitch between the Jaguars and the Lions is set for 6 p.m. at Jaguar Field.

South Alabama (5-5) enters the midweek contest after going 1-4 at the Bear Down Fiesta in Tucson, Ariz.
Gabby Stagner (.296) ranks second in the Sun Belt in home runs and is tied for 11th in the category nationally. The senior first baseman also ranks second in the league in RBI (13) and third in slugging percentage (.889). Stagner currently ranks second all-time at South Alabama in career home runs (32), just four shy of matching Kamdyn Kvistad's program mark.
Presley Lively is also batting .296 and leads the team and is tied for third in the SBC in stolen bases with five. Four of Lively's hits have gone for extra bases, including an inside-the-park home run. The freshman outfielder has scored a team-high 10 runs, and driven in six runs.
Olivia Branstetter leads the team at the plate with a .304 batting average. Lively (8) and Branstetter (7) have done a great job getting on base as the duo has combined for 15 walks, and rank second and third, respectively, in the Sun Belt in that category.
Caitlyn Gavin is second on the team with eight RBI. As a team, South ranks third in the conference in home runs with eight, and fourth in RBI (40).
