NOTES
 
– South Alabama last visited Monroe in 2023 when it walked away with the 55-7 victory in the Warhawks. That win marked the first time the Jaguars ever beat ULM on its home turf. South will look to secure its second-straight win at Malone Stadium Saturday.
 
– The Jags currently own a three-game winning streak over the Warhawks, which is the longest winning streak in series history between the two schools. The only other instance of a team winning consecutive games in this series was ULM defeating the Jags in 2018 and 2019. South will go for its fourth-straight win over ULM on Saturday.
 
– ULM head coach Bryant Vincent coached for the Jaguars from 2011-13 and then again from 2015-17. South Alabama's running backs coach, Broderick Fobbs, was on staff at ULM from 2023 through 2024 as the running backs coach for the Warhawks.
 
– In South Alabama's last game against Louisiana, running back Kentrel Bullock surpassed 2,000 career rushing yards. Bullock currently owns 2,071 career rushing yards, placing him fifth in program history. He sits just three yards behind La'Damian Webb for fourth place.
 
– Cornerback Nehemiah Chandler ranks sixth in the nation in passes defended per game at 1.33. Chandler set a new career high with three pass breakups in South's win over Georgia State.

ABOUT ULM
 
The Warhawks enter Saturday's contest riding a five-game losing streak. After opening conference play with a win over Arkansas State, ULM has not won since. Bryant Vincent is in his second year as head coach at ULM, where he owns a record of 8-13. Quarterback Aidan Armenta leads the way for ULM with 1,070 passing yards and nine touchdowns on the season. Former Jaguar Braylon McReynolds leads the rushing attack with 487 yards and a pair of scores. On defense, Noah Flemmings leads the team with 51 tackles, including 7.5 tackles for loss and three sacks.
