FOLEY, Ala. - Charleen Elizondo and Xavier Johnson each earned All Conference honors from the SBC Championship while both recording personal bests. 

Charleen Elizondo earned a third place finish in the women's 5k at the Sun Belt Cross Country Championships on Friday morning, securing First-Team All Conference honors. The junior set yet another personal best with a time of 17:12.5, improving from a previously set personal best just two weeks ago at the Crimson Classic.

Elizondo led the women's team in all five events this season and tallied her second top-5 finish in that stretch. She improved by 38 seconds from last year's eighth place finish at the Sun Belt Conference Championships.

Xavier Johnson crossed with a 10th place finish in the men's 8k, owning Second-Team All Conference honors. The Victoria, Australia native crushed his personal best by 42 seconds previously set at the 2025 Crimson Classic as well. 

Johnson led the men's side in four of five events this season. The senior improved from last year's SBC Championship by a massive one minute and 50 seconds and made the jump from 32nd place in 2024 to this year's 10th place.

The two Jaguar leaders will be competing in the 2025 NCAA Regionals in Huntsville, Ala. on Nov. 14.
