MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Women's Tennis is set to compete in the Mercer Gridiron Classic this weekend at the Randy Stephens Tennis Center in Macon, Ga.
The action begins on Friday, Oct. 3, with doubles starting at 8:30 a.m. ET, followed by singles at 11:30 a.m. ET. The Jaguars will compete against Troy, Mercer, Florida Southern, North Georgia, Georgia State, Kennesaw State and Georgia College & State University.
Mercer's men's and women's programs are co-hosting the tournament, which features more than 200 entries from 19 universities.
South Alabama is coming off an impressive showing at the Samford Round Robin, where sophomore
Rio Maeda went 5-1 over the weekend.
