NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Sun Belt Conference announces the 2024 men's cross country preseason poll, with South Alabama voted third.

South Alabama received 52 points and is picked behind App State and Arkansas State, with App State earning eight first place votes and Arkansas State receiving the last.

7. Louisiana – 33 points
8. Coastal Carolina – 21 points

South finished the last cross country season in Foley in fifth place as a team with 123 points, with App State winning the conference and Arkansas State placing second.

The season kicks off on August 30 at the Mobile City Classic at Langan Park where both the men's and women's teams will compete in the 5k starting at 6:45p.m.
