MOBILE, Ala. – Jordan Rosier of South Alabama Women's Basketball is set to attend the 2024 NCAA Career in Sports Forum, which will be held May 30th- June 2nd at the NCAA National Office in Indianapolis, IN.
Â
Rosier is one of 200 student-athletes selected to attend the forum. The four-day event helps student-athletes chart their career paths while networking with and learning from current athletics professionals.
Â
Content at the event will focus on four areas:
- Educate participants on how personal strengths intersect with career opportunities.
- Provide participants with tangible experiences that will push them forward in their aspiration for a career in sports.
- Explore professional and career development strategies to help the transition to a career in the sports industry.
- Learn about the role of an intercollegiate coach, athletics administrator, and national governing body staff member.
Â
"I am so honored to have been chosen among several other student-athletes across the country," Rosier said. "I can't wait to attend the NCAA Career in Sports Forum this May to expand my knowledge and seek future opportunities within the athletic field. I will make sure I take everything I learn and bring it back with me to South for my peers!"
Â
Rosier graduated in May with a Bachelors in Business Management and will pursue an MBA this fall.
