MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama will open up a 15-game road stretch Tuesday night when the Jaguars travel to take on Southeastern Louisiana with first pitch versus the Lions set for 5 p.m. at North Oak Park.

South Alabama (7-2) enters its midweek contest versus SELA after going 3-1 over the weekend at the South Alabama Invitational presented by Marriott Mobile with wins over Central Michigan, Northern Illinois and UAB, and falling to undefeated tournament champion Eastern Kentucky.
At the plate, South was led by
Sasha Willems, who batted a .643 and had a tournament-best nine hits, and is batting .452 this spring, while driving in seven runs and scoring five times.
Gabby Stagner (.500 avg / 1.067 slg%) has a team-high 14 hits on the year with nine of those going for extra bases, and the Mobile, Ala., native also leads the team with 11 RBI and has scored 10 runs.
Mackenzie Brasher has 12 hits and has scored a team-best 11 runs, while she is also a perfect 7-for-7 in her stolen base attempts.Â

Olivia Lackie (4-1) was nearly perfect for the Jaguars over the weekend as she recorded a pair of victories, struck out 15 and allowed just five total base runners while not allowing any runs to the 37 batters she faced. She held opponents to a minuscule .097 batting average. This spring, Lackie holds a 1.05 earned run average, has struck out 40 batters and is holding opponents to a .112 batting average in her 26.2 innings of work
